Gorgeous Has Gone Eco

I’m always on the hunt for beautiful new ideas and a new rug company has gone and captured my fancy. EcoChicRugs takes antique, hand woven rugs from all over Turkey and recycles them into these gorgeous room coverings. I’m huge into conservation and when it comes to room design, designers are the ultimate at re-using items from the past, making this idea a no-brain-er.

At a time when we build just to turn around and tear it down, it’s more important than ever to get creative in how we live and the items we choose to live with. So when you want to lay a new canvas down in your pad, get the double benefit of helping leave a smaller carbon footprint. No pun intended, of course.
