New Community Based Site Breaks the Gluten Free Mold: Introducing Stuffed Pepper

For those of you who haven’t discovered the gluten free community based site, Stuffed Pepper, it very well may be the best thing that ever happened to those of us living gluten free. The idea is really quite ingenious when you think about it because every bit of the content is provided by you and me– the gluten free community. As we all know, there are so many wonderfully talented individuals living the gluten free life and because everyone’s experience has been radically different, each and every one of us has something valuable to contribute. This is Stuffed Pepper and this is why Blackbird Bakery is so darn impressed with the vision. I immediately became a member because in order for the changes that we want to see occur, we must band together. As the old saying goes, it takes a village to raise a single child, so in order to raise our gluten free child, we need to have a diverse village (and we do!) Now there is a place where we can all gather and make a contribution.

Whenever I think of the holidays and I’m not thinking about baking, I’m ruminating on togetherness, and family. Long nights around the fire and cold mornings getting the kitchen so warm the windows fog up from all the delicious goodies being whipped up for the ones I love the most. The greatest thing about my blog and by default, Stuffed Pepper, is that you get to see exactly what I am baking so that you, in turn, can do the same for your loved ones. When you think about it, it’s an incredibly beautiful chain of events that connect us, even when there are thousands of miles between us.

When I bake for my family, I am baking for you and your family. The moment I make a post or write a recipe, I am baking for you. So this holiday season, don’t break the chain.
