Tim Burton at LACMA

I’ve written about Tim Burton here on my site a couple of times, so for me do a third time is nothing if not charming. His touring show, which is currently at the LACMA is a fantastic chance to get a glimpse of his artistic evolution. The show is like walking through an artist’s journal that is so full to bursting, that the only thing holding it together is a stretched out rubber band; the prolific volume of Tim Burton’s work is by far what is so startlingly impressive.

Be it a simple list of his favorite horror movies or a sublime watercolor of one of the many characters that has since made him famous, there is a little bit of everything to give you a glimpse into the mind of one of the best director’s of our generation.
