For those of you who missed this article last week by Gina Kolata of The New York Times, I humbly beseech you to read it and discuss your thoughts with me.

I’ve also seen (see below) where women who subscribe to the Skinny in the City diet tell the waitstaff while dining out that they have a food allergy to allay the salty looks they get when their vanity is called into question. What do you all think about this? I think it’s very interesting because it is spreading awareness for those of us who really suffer from this affliction, but it’s coming from people who are just trying to loose weight, which draws up another very pertinent question: should everyone subscribe to a gluten free, organic diet for overall better health?

Please submit your thoughts!
